HIV/AIDS Project

Key interventions

  • 30 peer educators trained, 15 people living with HIV/ AIDS trained as peer educators
  • Awareness raising conducted among 200 traditional healers, 250 secondary school students
  • 28 youth peer educators trained (e.g. use of condoms, provision of care and support for people living with HIV/AIDS), 288 youth sensitised on HIV/ AIDS
  • Awareness raising events conducted on the market for 576 people
  • Around 500 mothers referred to voluntary counselling and testing (VCT) facilities, prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) services and antiretroviral therapy (ART)
  • Leaflet and poster distribution
  • 1360 condoms distributed
  • 2 radio programmes produced, reaching approximately 10,000 people

Civic Education Project (Good Governance/ Human Rights)

Food for Education Project
